The result is that it only makes him more tired from running away from them. In running away, Mouse goes back to town, where Machiko is waiting for him. She wants him to kiss her. In running away from her, Mouse runs into One again. Contrary to what he expects, One does not attack him. One instead gets Mouse stinking drunk. At home, Mouse then calls the girls in to serve him. The next day, he shares a bath with the girls. He then tells them that he steals for the romance, not the money.
